Firstly, I would like to mention that the inserts and the clear vinyl covers are from the U.S and were originally bought to hold a cheque book, however I later found out that our cheque books are much bigger than the ones over in the U.S and therefore would not fit inside this cover. So, where a cheque book would normally go I have added a replaceable notebook/pad and there is a clear flap that holds the cover closed. The insert has been printed on quality card stock. The notebook holder measures 16.5cm x 8.5cm (closed) or 16.5cm x 17.5cm (open).
